Easy progressive art ideas can be challenging to find. However, I have one that my students LOVE to do. Plus, you can use it anytime of the year!! Check out how we use marble art in my ECSE classroom. This can be used for a wide variety of ages and abilities which makes it appealing for many classrooms.

– Here are some tips! When I first started with my ECSE class I did it one on one. The biggest hurdle was the students wanting to touch the marbles. I suggest letting them do it prior to painting….lol!!
– Have a visual board for students to choose colors if needed.
– Have 3-4 color options only. Cuts down on the amount of option for students to choose from.
– Write the names on the artwork BEFORE you paint. Many times i forgot and trying to write it on the back with wet paint was not my brightest moment!
– Do not overwhelm the paper with paint! A few drops of each color is perfect!
If you like this idea you might want to add some sensory bins to your classroom. Check out how I incorporate this into my monthly themes.
Now to the good part….Here are 4 templates for you to use! Card stock is best for printing, but I have used regular printer paper as well!
